The Annual Lunch at Invercarse Hotel took place on 23 March when members and guests enjoyed a talk by Margaret Scott on the history of The People’s Friend, officially the oldest women’s magazine in the wired and this year celebrating its 150th anniversary. Margaret dug into social archive revealed in the pages of old editions and explored how the lives of women have changed over the years.
