We’re really excited about the University Women of Europe Meet and Greet running from 17-19 May in Dundee. The event is hosted by Graduate Women Scotland and will be held at the University of Dundee in conjunction with Department of Equality and Diversity.
Starting from 1.30 pm on Friday 17 May, we’ll share the stories of inspirational women present and past, and find out why the city of Dundee was known as She Town. Now the Scottish city of Design and Discovery, Dundee is a city full of stories.
Delegates will be welcomed at a Civic Reception in the City Chambers on Friday evening and have the opportunity to explore Dundee’s industrial and cultural heritage during the event. Saturday attendees are invited to take part in the Pecha Kucha – a specific style of presentation that originated in Japan. Saturday evening will be a dinner and a Ceilidh.
On Sunday, delegates will have the options of a trip to Glamis Castle or guided visit to St Andrews.
The Meet and Greet is open to all members of the University Women of Europe, their friends, and those interested in learning more about Graduate Women International, University Women of Europe, and/or Graduate Women Scotland.
